Watermark

Add text or a raster logo to an image or selected PDF pages, with adjustable position, size and opacity.

Open Watermark

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Choose one JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF as the target.
  2. Choose Text and enter the wording, or choose Image logo and select one JPG, PNG or WebP logo.
  3. Choose the position, opacity and relative width. Set Text color when using a text watermark.
  4. For a PDF, leave the page range blank for all pages or enter a range such as 1-3,5, then confirm the compatibility notice.
  5. Run Watermark, download the result and inspect the watermark on every relevant page or image.

Inputs, wording and logo

The target can be one JPG/JPEG, PNG, WebP or PDF. A logo must be a JPG, PNG or WebP image, up to 2 MB and 2 megapixels. The target and optional logo both count toward file and upload-size limits.

Text accepts 1 to 100 English letters, numbers and punctuation. For Bangla or other scripts, prepare the wording as an image logo. PDF is supported as a target, not as a logo.

Placement and output

Choose one of nine positions across the top, center or bottom. Relative width runs from 5% to 80% of the page or image; tall marks are constrained to fit. Opacity runs from 10% to 100%. Text color affects text marks, while image logos keep their own colors.

Image output keeps the source JPG, PNG or WebP format. PDF output retains every source page and marks only the chosen pages. The page range does not extract or remove unmarked pages.

Limits and troubleshooting

Keep the original PDF. Rebuilding pages does not preserve interactive forms, annotations, bookmarks, layers or digital signatures. Encrypted, damaged and some compressed PDF structures are unsupported. A PDF that opens in a viewer can still fail export. If necessary, create a standard, unlocked PDF copy in an application you trust and inspect that copy before using it here.

PDF export requires confirming the compatibility notice. The source-page limit covers the whole PDF, even when only a few pages receive a watermark. Smaller logos or fewer source pages can help with memory and output limits.

A watermark is a visible mark, not encryption, access control or secure redaction. If the mark is hard to read, increase opacity or contrast. If it covers important content, reduce its size or choose a different position.

Processing and privacy

The selected files are uploaded to Helphonic for processing in private storage. No third-party file-processing service is used. Temporary source and output files are removed after the download response, and failed processing cleans up temporary files. Keep your originals and save the result to your device.

Access and current limits

Check the tool page for current access, remaining usage and per-operation limits. File count, per-file size, total size and page limits can depend on your access and can change. Device and processor safety limits still apply when usage is unlimited. A paid pass does not necessarily increase every processing limit.

One successful export counts as one operation, including its multiple files or pages. Changing options and local previews do not use an operation. Current access checks must complete before the tool can release the result.

Check the current limits

Allowances and per-operation limits can change. The Watermark page shows the policy that applies to you. Per-operation safety limits still apply when usage is unlimited. See access passes if a tool or extra usage requires paid access.
