Extract PDF Pages
Choose page numbers or ranges from one PDF and download those pages as a new PDF.
Open Extract PDF PagesStep-by-step instructions
- Choose one PDF within the current source-page and upload limits.
- Enter the pages to keep, for example 1-3,5,8-10. Number pages from 1 using their position in the PDF.
- Run Extract PDF Pages and download the resulting PDF.
- Check that the new file contains the intended pages in the intended order.
Selecting pages
Separate page numbers and ascending ranges with commas. For example, 1-3,5 selects pages 1, 2, 3 and 5. Printed page labels can differ from the PDF page positions used by the tool.
The first appearance of each page determines its output position; repeated selections do not duplicate that page. A selection such as 5,1-2 places page 5 before pages 1 and 2. Use Organize PDF to duplicate pages deliberately.
Supported files and result
The input is one PDF and the output is one PDF containing the selected pages. Original page sizes and orientations are retained. This extracts whole pages, not the text or embedded pictures within them.
Use PDF to Text for selectable text, or PDF to JPG / PNG to turn whole pages into images.
Limits and troubleshooting
The source-page limit includes every page in the chosen PDF, even when you select a small range. At least one valid page must be selected, and range endpoints must exist in the source.
Keep the original PDF. Rebuilding pages does not preserve interactive forms, annotations, bookmarks, layers or digital signatures. Encrypted, damaged and some compressed PDF structures are unsupported. A PDF that opens in a viewer can still fail export. If necessary, create a standard, unlocked PDF copy in an application you trust and inspect that copy before using it here.
If a range is rejected, check for page 0, reversed ranges or a page number beyond the end of the document. Use commas between separate selections.
Processing and privacy
The selected files are uploaded to Helphonic for processing in private storage. No third-party file-processing service is used. Temporary source and output files are removed after the download response, and failed processing cleans up temporary files. Keep your originals and save the result to your device.
Access and current limits
Check the tool page for current access, remaining usage and per-operation limits. File count, per-file size, total size and page limits can depend on your access and can change. Device and processor safety limits still apply when usage is unlimited. A paid pass does not necessarily increase every processing limit.
One successful export counts as one operation, including its multiple files or pages. Changing options and local previews do not use an operation. Current access checks must complete before the tool can release the result.
Check the current limits
Allowances and per-operation limits can change. The Extract PDF Pages page shows the policy that applies to you. Per-operation safety limits still apply when usage is unlimited. See access passes if a tool or extra usage requires paid access.
